Teaching at J.A. Fair

This April I was blessed with fun task of teaching about 30 high school students at J.A. Fair High in Little Rock how to dance salsa. We had such a fun time that I went back this summer and taught another class! Here are the pictures from April and as soon as I get this summer's pictures, I'll post those too:).

The Scene Salsa Magazine Release Party

I went to this lovely event hosted by my good friend Larry (DJ Renzo) back in May. It was a ton of fun and a few of us out of town guests were interviewed! Check it out below!

Femme Finesse in Montreal for the New Year!

Femme Finesse had THE most awesome-est time in Montreal for the 2008/2009 SalsaGlam hosted by Guesley and David. Omg, it was such a fabulous time! Here is my favorite picture from the weekend to prove it!

Workshop in Richmond, VA Dec. 6 08

Jamila and I rode down to Richmond today to teach a workshop on styling and partnerwork. She was such a great help! We had a lot of fun with everyone and I have the pictures to prove it :P. Much thanks goes to DJ Steve for putting this workshop together. Check out his page one day www.djsteve.com - he's got awesome skills on the tables and is doing a lot for the Richmond salsa scene.

Trip to Montreal - November 2008

Well it's been a minute since I've traveled for dance! I finally got a chance to get back to Montreal to hang out with my salsa friends there and it was a blast! I'm thinking I might have found a new home. All you NC folks who've been wanting to take a private - I'd advise you schedule it sooner than later ;-).

Dancing with the Zetas!

I had a lot of fun this evening dancing with the Zeta Sorors! I taught them all the salsa basics and got them "shimmying on 3 and 7" like pros, lol! Here's a picture of the group, all with perfect ladies styling arms! We had a blast!
